What we do

Florence Babies Village started in 2019 by Florence Nalwoga. She is a caring mother who has worked with children for over 30 years in Europe and North America. Her primary care and focus are for children between 1 day old and 5 years. Originally from Uganda, a country with a lot of cases of child neglect and abandonment, Florence decided to start up a baby’s home to rescue these beautiful souls who would have died if not rescued.

Many women in Kampala often abandon their new born-babies at hospitals or at the gates of children’s homes, others discard them on the streets or in pit-latrines leaving them to die. As a Christian organization, our mission is to take care of abandoned children and give them a better start in life.
